Birthday Strips & Flowers

Hey guys! I'm finally getting time to check in. Sorry it's been so long. What do you think of the new background and layout? I found it over at shabbyblog.com. They have a lot of great blog layouts and extras. They make super cute layout combo's too.


I made this card for my Mom's suprise 50th birthday. We had it at the beach. I thought this card fit in perfectly with the location of where we threw the party.


I have really started to like cards that are done like this. Cards that stand tall but open from the top. (Not really sure what they are called) They are just fun and different.


Anywho...this card came together pretty quickly. I love love love the polka dot stamped image. I am not sure who this stamp is by. I bought it at a local scrapbooking/office supply store, Keeton's. It's this great little place in downtown Bradenton. When you see the place you wouldn't think they would have any papercrafting items but they have some really cute stuff. They also have some great classes. I haven't had a chance to take any yet but I have seen the things they make in them and they are ubber cute!

My New Love

So I know that my blog has really only been about the cards I have made but I HAD to share with you all my new LOVE! I bought this yesterday at my local Ulta. It is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Urban Decay Primer Potion is my new love! It works like magic. It keeps your eyeshadow from falling into your creases.

I wore it today for the first time and I am hooked! Normally by the end of the day; wait not even the end of the day like half way through it, my eyeshadow has sunken down into the creases of my eye lids and/or rubbed off. Yuck! I put this stuff on this morning at about 7 am and it is now 9:13 pm and my eyeshadow is still perfect!

So you must go buy it. And if you do go get it make sure to get the extra large. The regular size is $17 and the extra large is only $22. It's almost twice the size for a fraction of the price. Wow! I just sounded like an infomercial there! But wait theirs more! Ha!

So if you are a crazed make-up junkie like myself go get your self some Urban Decay Primer Potion. You will love it just as much as I do...I swear!
