Birthday Strips & Flowers

Hey guys! I'm finally getting time to check in. Sorry it's been so long. What do you think of the new background and layout? I found it over at They have a lot of great blog layouts and extras. They make super cute layout combo's too.

I made this card for my Mom's suprise 50th birthday. We had it at the beach. I thought this card fit in perfectly with the location of where we threw the party.

I have really started to like cards that are done like this. Cards that stand tall but open from the top. (Not really sure what they are called) They are just fun and different.

Anywho...this card came together pretty quickly. I love love love the polka dot stamped image. I am not sure who this stamp is by. I bought it at a local scrapbooking/office supply store, Keeton's. It's this great little place in downtown Bradenton. When you see the place you wouldn't think they would have any papercrafting items but they have some really cute stuff. They also have some great classes. I haven't had a chance to take any yet but I have seen the things they make in them and they are ubber cute!

Hope you enjoyed the card!
