Just a quick post today.

The last few days have been crazy. I got home today from a impromptu road trip to North Carolina. Had to go bring my best friend home. In two days I spent 28 hours driving in a car...CRAZY!

Anyway. Here is a birthday card a I made a while back for a co-worker. It was quick and simple. My favorite.



I just love the big flower on this card. It is by Heidi Swapp...I got it super on sale from her site. I love sales...I mean who doesn't. I am the queen of sales. I got the idea to fold the flower from the back of the package. I can honestly say that I wouldn't have thought to do that.

Color Inspiration 50 Plus Mojo Monday 84

Hay guys! I am so glad to be back.

I first want to say congrats to Kristina Werner for her 50th Color Inspiration! Amazing! Love your blog! Keep them coming. When I saw this weeks Color Inspiration I just knew that I had to particpate.

Then I saw the Mojo sketch and I decided to roll two challanges into one. I have to admit that this was harder than I thought it would be.

I was sure that I had the perfect patterned paper to do these challanges with...but...I searched my scraproom high and low and could find it. So, after much consideration, I came up with this. I must say that I absolutley LOVE it.

Sick

Hay guys. Just wanted to drop in quick and apologize for the lack of posts. I have been crazy busy at work and I got sick on Saturday. I have been feeling like crap ever since. I promise that as soon as I am feeling better I will be back with some new cute projects.

Day 2 Post 2

Hay guys! I'm still figuring out this whole blogging thing one step at a time. There are so many things to learn.

Anyway! Today's card is one that I made for my neighbors. I can honestly say that I have the best ever. I came up with the idea for this card one night while laying in bed. Oddly enough I was just about to drift off to sleep and the idea popped into my head. When I woke up the next morning I knew I just had to make it.

This card is made from a retired Stampin' Up! Simply Scrappin Kit (can't remember the name) The solid paper is SU! Wild Washbi and the pink is from The Paper Company (Michael's). I made all the scallops with the SU! scallop edge punch. Punching out all those scallops took forever! The ribbon is from American Crafts. The sentiment is from the SU! Cute and Curly set. The flowers are from the Prima Pixie Tin Elle.
